enlightenment revealed

welcome to the first of september...the day when i get to share with you the amazing kit i've had the privilege to work with from Scrapbooking from the Inside Out.  the theme this month is ENLIGHTENMENT.

Always keep your mind as bright and clear as the vast sky, the great ocean, and the highest peak, empty of all thoughts. Always keep your body filled with light and heat. Fill yourself with the power of wisdom and enlightenment. Morihei Ueshiba

Do not think you will necessarily be aware of your own enlightenment. Dogen

The real meaning of enlightenment is to gaze with undimmed eyes on all darkness. Nikos Kazantzakis
this kit is full of orange and turquoise and bright jewel tones.  it has paper from BoBunny, Hambly and The Paper Company.  Nancy and Rachel always kill me with their creative match of colors and paper lines.  here, take a peek at this sweet kit...

and i also have my first of 5 pages i created with this kit to share with you.  i'm going to go by order i created them just for fun.  my first page is all about learning American Sign Language and what i learned about the world and myself through it.

my journaling says:  english is my first language.  ASL is my second and it truly is a language of the heart.  it has been said that english can touch the mind, touch our intelligence and logic.  But ASL touches our hearts, moves our emotions and can convey concepts only our hearts can understand.  Through sign language i have come to know my own heart.  Through sign language i have been able to dive deeper into Bible truth and learns things that just reading couldn't teach me.  through sign language i have been made aware of the love i possess.  it is a gift to understand this precious language.

please come by and see all the other pages created by our fabulous design team.  this is a kit you won't want to miss!!
