Feeling, not overthinking

I saw this quote from Elise on her Instagram which is one she included in her Project Life. It just struck a cord with me and I wanted to share.

quote

Working on feeling more, living more. And “figuring out”, overthinking less…about lots of things: work, paying the (new and piling up medical) bills, being out of sync with husband for a couple days, the crazy new neighbors we got. Instead I’m feeling grateful for a quick visit from my mum on Saturday, eager to keep learning Russian, happy that we do have jobs that support us, and blessed that Chris and I always get back in sync.

What are you feeling today?

  1. I love that quote, I'm glad you shared it. We've had crazy neighbours lately too :(
I learnt some Russian at high school and really enjoyed it :) It's shameful how little I can speak of it now though! haha. I hope you have a nice day love x

  2. I think that's a wonderful quote. I'm currently feeling frustrated. There are a couple of my things regarding the project I'm working on that are just... well... dumb. My neighbors seem to think the best spot to hang out is in my backyard, in front of my windows, and they're talking about some stuff that I really don't want to know about.

  3. My sister's neighbors last week were standing right outside her kitchen window talking about how easy it would be to steal her bikes. Needless to say, they are in the garage now.

This is a great quote. I think I need to hang this up in my house somewhere, because I way too often get frustrated trying to 'figure' it all out.

  4. I'm in a figuring out stage right now and I love it. I can't wait to figure out just enough to let go and enjoy all the moments that follow.

    xoxo

    1. I'm usually like that...but lately I've been really stuck in that figuring out stage. I need to consciously "let go and enjoy the moments" like you said. Thanks for stopping by!
