discovery revealed

today is August 1st which means we get to reveal the new emotion and kit from over at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out:  DISCOVERY.

so take this chance to examine your life... think about self-discovery, or discoveries you've make on your travels, or a hidden treasure about a loved one you recently discovered.  there are so many direction this can go.  im sure its going to be a fun month!! 

the kit is full of all of my my favorite color combination...deep rich colors.  i loved digging into this kit.

and today i get to share my first of 5 pages with you!!
honestly this theme was more difficult for me than i thought it was going to be.  but in the end, i created some of my favorite pages.  this one especially all about my 52weeks project.

my journaling says:  this year i have embarked on an ambitious project:  a self-portrait and a poem for every week of the year 2010.  Its a project of self-discovery...to learn more about myself in context with the life i lead.  I have discovered my strength, my fears, my hopes, my dreams and my passions...and i know i will always treasure these portraits of my life.
