*Coffee Date* Friday

Hello friends! Its time for another coffee date vlog today. So grab your cup of coffee (or whatever you’re drinking this morning), hit play and listen to what’s on my heart today. I tweeted Alissa of Rags to Stitches who I link up with for coffee date to see if there was a theme for this week, but she said to just talk about what’s been on my heart. So here it is…something Chris and I are doing together that I’m really excited about.

What is on your heart today?
Have you ever learned a new language to help those in your community?
Leave your blog address in the comments so I can come say hi!

  1. Shaina, that is so awesome that you guys are doing that!! We have a lot of Spanish-speaking people where I live, and Brandon & I have tossed around the idea of learning Spanish more than once. I've got a Spanish Bible and have been out with some friends in their territory. It's such a different experience! I was actually looking at Rosetta Stone's website yesterday and did the Spanish demo for how it works. I was really impressed with the method of teaching they use. They are running a special right now that even lets you break it down into 5 different payments, so I'd like to actually get it. We will see!

    1. I would love to get Rosetta Stone! We'll see what learning methods they teach us in the class and see if that's something we should pursue for Russian afterwards. I am excited to expand my ministry with this language! Thanks for the encouragement.

  2. This is awesome! I've thought about trying to learn Spanish but have gotten intimidated as it seems like a huge undertaking (or maybe I'm just burnt out from 7 years of French classes!)

I wrote this morning about what's been on my mind/heart - a yearning for autumn, colder weather, coziness, etc.

    1. 7 years of French class!! Yeah, that might burn you out. Learning any language is a huge undertaking, but we're excited to do it together. :)
Off to peek at your blog. Sounds like we're feeling the same way about autumn!
