As I turn 26

Today I turn 26 years old, and following tradition, I've compiled a list of 25 things I learned while I was 25. I’ve been creating a list like this since I was 18 with the last few years shared on my blog.  Its one of my favorite things to look back on. Here is my list for this last year.

  7. Humility and modesty mean recognizing my limitations.
  8. There are many different and unexpected ways to flourish.
  9. I love that with blog design I am always learning something new and with each new client I get to create an online home perfect for them.
  10. Forgive and then love…that’s all we need to do.
  11. Live with intention. Blog with a purpose.
  12. Learning the Russian language has brought so many blessings.

  16. Nothing beats putting pen to paper and letting everything spill out through your fingertips.
  17. It is important to be a human doing, not just a human being.
  18. God is greater than my heart.
  19. Medical insurance is worth every penny!
  20. Emotional trauma needs time to heal just like physical trauma.
  21. The best thing is always the kind thing.
  22. Sometimes real life is pain and heartache, but it is also beauty and unraveling and love.
  23. Always make time for photo-shoots with the ones you love.
