This little boy has just captured my heart. So thankful for a chance to visit him. And for modern technology that lets me watch him grow up, even though we live so far apart. This was a highlight of my summer.
It is already over 7 months since I last saw him when he was just 9 days old. But I love the age he is at right now. Developing quite a little personality! He’s a wiggle-worm and chewing on anything he can get his hands on. His shirt says “My name is Magoo.” It was his dad, my brother’s shirt when he was little. We used to call him Mr. Magoo. And now he calls his son Mini Magoo. And the shirt fits, which is just perfect. Such a cute little man.
Yup. I love being an Auntie. I just wish we didn’t live so far apart. Glad for the little moments when we get to be together, even for just a few hours.
Who is your favorite little person?
Does your family have nicknames?
I’d love to hear yours! Mine is Shadylane…Imagine that!
What a cutie! Glad you got to spend time with him!
ReplyDeleteHe is so adorable. Love those ears. I always wish I had a nickname that stuck but I don't :/ my sister loves giving nicknames but she makes a new one for everyone pretty much every month.
ReplyDeleteHe is super cute! Love the shirt and MR MAGOO!! My nickname was BOO BOO my dad used to call while on the road and talk in a yogi voice! Made it that much more fun when he was away!!! I call my oldest Olly short for Olivia, and I call Emily Emers!! Looks like you had a nice visit and some great photos!
ReplyDeleteThose are great nicknames! I think sometimes its interesting how nicknames develop and stick. Like my little sister for instance. Her name is kelsey joleen. We called her K.J., which then turned into Cage. And that's what sticks. I really like the Emers one. Cute!
DeleteWhat a cutie. You're right, 7 months is a great age! I think that babies really begin to develop personalities around 5-7 months. Glad you had fun enjoying him.
ReplyDeleteI so did! I wish I was able to capture one of his big huge smiles, but I think he was just so intrigued by the camera that I got a lot of serious face whenever he looked at it. lol.
DeleteHow sweet, what a cutie! And those ears!! So adorable! I also love being an auntie!!! It's one of my greatest callings. My niece and nephew are 3 and 5 and I have so much fun with them... I want time to stand still! As far as nicknames go... they call me Kiki, and my younger sister happens to call me Keester. lol
ReplyDeleteMan he looks so much like Micah did its a little like a time warp. Those ears are crazy lol
