Quilted Gift and Happy Mail

I got the most lovely gift in the mail from my best friend Kelly-Anne. She lives in Northern BC, Canada and I don't get to see her nearly often enough, but she made me the most beautiful quilt.  She used all my favorite colors: grey, purple and yellow. I love how it came together and just wanted to share.  It made me smile. The same day the quilt came in the mail my 2 books I ordered by Susannah Conway came too: "Instant Love" all about the art of the Polaroid and "This I Know" notes on unraveling the heart.  I am going to spend a few nice evenings under my quilt (cuz its crazy cold here even though its June!) reading my new books.

    I love the colours of your new quilt!
    I only got funny note stickers in the mail lately, so not much happy mail for me. However, I had the Instant Love book pre-ordered, so it's been happily resting on my night table for quite some time. Can't wait to finally get to read it instead of spending most of my days studying, haha.

      You're gonna love the book. Its so inspirational! I have 3 polaroid cameras that my husband saved from the trash for me, but now I need some film!

      I've been tempted to buy a Polaroid camera as well, but the price of the film kind of puts me off :(

    That quilt is really gorgeous and I so admire quilters....my mom quilts and it is just amaizing. I was wondering if you could let us know what you think about "This I Know" notes on unraveling the heart, I have been thinking about buying it but not sure - would love your review on it when your done.

    Ok, honest...when I read "grey, purple, yellow" I couldn't get my head around it...but its so so so pretty!!! The flower patterned fabric is just gorgeous. What an amazing gift!!!
