i am so excited to share with you the current prompt over at THe CrEatiVe TyPe.  it went up today and is all about monograms.  so i did my page about my name.  its a long one!  i have 2 middle names and a 10 letter last name!  read more about it in the journaling on my page.

Our newest prompt

over at THe CrEatiVe TyPe is all about stamps!!!  yup, time to pull out those foam stamps or rubber stamps that you haven't used in ages and dip them in some ink or paint!  that's what i did for the title of my page.  i used to use these foam letter stamps sooo much... but its been years i think since i last did.  but i think it was just right for this page about Mathea.

and how perfect is this Rusty Pickle paper??  she loves pirates, so i thought it would fit her just right. :D

that's the theme for our first prompt over at our new site for THe CrEatiVe TyPe and this is the page i created for it.

this page is about something that chris and i always say to each other... "love you to life." because our love is forever... no "death" involved. ;) this saying is even engraved in chris' wedding ring. its special to us.

yup, you heard right!! this is sooo exciting for me. :) a little while ago i took over as the moderator/organizer of the challenge blog that i've been on for close to two years now. after some discussion with the rest of the ladies on the team, we decided to move our blog to a ning.com site.

doing this page kinda made me want to really start a hair diary to keep track of all the fun things i do to my hair.... interesting idea maybe in the works. :P

once again i used scrapblog.com to create my page. but once i start paper-scrapping again, i think i want to recreate this in paper too. this is one of my favorite pictures of chris and i. i love how this turned out.

that's the latest challenge over at THe CrEatiVe TyPe. i've been helping out in the background on the design team over there for the last few months (due to my class) but i really wanted to create something for this prompt. so instead of pulling out my paper and glue, i decided to go digital! thanks scrapblog for letting me create again!!

the results of a fun night spend scapping...

marta and i had a lot of fun on friday night. :) i enjoy her company soooo much. the only thing about scrapping with company is that it seems like i do more visiting than actual creating. hehe. oh well. here are the two pages i finished.

this page is for the current song up over at Scrapping The Music. its the song: "white horse" by taylor swift. there are some great lyrics in the song and the line: this aint hollywood, this is a small town" is what i chose. these are fun pictures that i thought would go well. :)

now chris and i are in wenatchee. abi had her "bath and kitchen" bridal shower yesterday here. man, she got soooo many presents!! wow. then we all hung out over at nate's place. we have so much fun all of us together. i'm glad to have such good friends.

we're spending the rest of the weekend with chris' parents. they got a new bigger mattress for the guest bedroom, so we got to sleep in there instead of on the hide-a-bed. its a memory foam matress. dude...that was a good night's sleep. now chris is desperate for us to get one of our own. we'll see how that goes...

what a privilege

the design team for THe CrEative TyPe was asked to create for becky from PageMaps this month and i got to be included! seriously inspiring!! this pagemap totally pushed my creative boundaries and really got me thinking. i hardly ever use tiny pictures like this. too much fun!!
